Thi book is about one aspect of cancer immunotherapy. It describes the development of cancer vaccines from peptides derived from tumor-associated antigens. It includes informaton on mutant oncogene and tumor suppressor gene products, such as p53, fusion proteins, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). MUC1 peptides, and the HER-2/neu oncogene as targets for cancer vaccines. It elucidates peptide delivery mechanisms, with a chapter on the role of dendritic cells.
